Where is the shop?
HQ Laundry is located at 69 Hunter St, Hornsby within walking distance from Westfield & Hornsby Railway station. On one side is Prompt Mower Service and on the other is Potter’s House Church. Hunter Street also has a butcher, arts studio, Asian supermarket, pool shop with plenty of mechanics and gyms.
Is there parking nearby?
There is ample shop front parking designated for our customers only. Hunter Street also has free 2 hour parking Monday – Friday 8:30am – 6pm, Saturday 8:30am -12:30pm, Sunday no restrictions.
How can I pay?
You can pay by Eftpos.
How long will my laundry take & what machines are available?
Washing machines, estimated time varies with cycle selected
- 6.5kg top loader: 35 minutes
- 9kg front loader: 35 minutes
- 14kg industrial front loader: 35 minutes
- 18kg industrial front loader: 35 minutes
Gas Dryers
- 14kg: 30 mins or 45 mins
- 22kg: 30 mins or 45 mins
Equipment cleaning & maintenance
Our machines are regularly cleaned throughout the day.
For the washers they are regularly wiped down with hospital grade disinfectant throughout the day, in-wash laundry sanitiser can be provided, a chlorine bleach cleaning cycle is run at the end of each month.
Our gas dryers operate at high temperatures providing thermal disinfection. The lint trays are cleaned out daily. The door handles are disinfected throughout the day. To learn more about our equipment cleaning and maintenance, please click here.
